Second stop: VIAREGGIO, Italy
My first stop was in northern Poland, so now it’s a high time
to change a little bit direction and
visit eastern Italy. Welcome to Viareggio!
Three years ago I decided to become an au pair for the first time and thanks to this program, I discovered Viareggio. It’s a
place located at the seaside, so if you adore sunbathing and fresh seafood, you
should definitely go there! It’s a typical, seaside town, that’s why you will find there a beautiful, big port
with hundreds of boats.
What’s more, it’s a real touristic city, so you can
take part in lots of events, like Color Run, or just go to the club. In this
point it’s worth to mention that Italians are really open minded and helpful
nation, so if you get lost somewhere or just need advice, they’re always
willing to help you. If it goes about events, not everyone knows that Viareggio
has a really long and interesting story related to carnival. What’s more, they
celebrate carnival in August as
well! It’s a great opportunity to get to know
Italian culture and understand a little bit their way of living and thinking!
