Changes

CHANGES

Hello!

Today I’m not taking you to another city because I’d like to share some news with you. Let’s make some changes! But first, let’s sum up last four months.

Since October I've been trying to convince you that it’s always a good idea to organize a trip, even the small one, because each country has got its own amazing culture, traditions, habits and monuments  and that’s why it’s worth discovering as many places as it’s possible.

As you could see, I focused on showing you those cities, mainly Polish and Italian ones, that I’ve discovered and that, in my opinion, are worth visiting. But now I want to change something, it means that I’d like tell you something about those places which are already on my ‘must see list’. So, I want to take you to different countries and discover together new continents! I hope that you’ll enjoy our trips!

See you soon :)

Warsaw

Warsaw!

Hey! To be honest, Warsaw isn’t on the list of my favourite cities but I decided to tell you something about it because it’s the capital of my country, so it’s worth knowing it, at least a little bit. Well, it’s the biggest  Polish city and probably one of the most polluted as well. It’s situated in the East-Central part of the country.

So maybe first I’d explain you why I’m not keen on this city. I think that the answer is really easy: it’s too crowded and as I’ve already said, too polluted. What’s more, people are always in rush. I just don’t like this kind of lifestyle and the atmosphere of this city.
But okay, finally I’m moving to the advantages! So, if it goes about an architecture, it’s a really nice city. If you want to get to know something about Poles and our history, you should visit The Powązki Cementary, The Warsaw Upraising Museum, The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier or The Royal Castle.

Then, I recommend you   discovering the old town  (you need to see  the Sigismund’s Column!), Palace of Culture and Science and of course, Łazienki Park – it’s a perfect place for long walks and relax! If you’re crazy about museum, there are lots of them in Warsaw! And if you prefer shopping – don’t worry, the city centre if full of malls. And remember, don’t take a bus from 3 pm until 6 pm  because for sure you’d stuck in traffic jam!

So, even if it’s not my favourite city, I recommend you discovering it because it’s full of interesting places and what’s the most important, it’s a really important place of Polish history.

Florence

Hey!

Tuscany, Chianti, art – welcome to Florence!

I spent there only one day, so unfortunately I hadn’t enough time to see all the monuments and to get to know all the secrets of this city but it was enough to visit the most important places and to discover some interesting facts about Florence. If you don’t remember, it’s the capital of the Tuscany, the most breathtaking region of Italy.

This city is well known all over the world because of many artists and poets that lived there, for example Dante or Leonardo da Vinci. Visiting Florence, you need to see the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, located in the city centre, the bridge called Ponte Vecchio situated on the Arno river – it’s worth seeing it not only because it’s beautiful and really well conserved but it seems to be composed of many small ‘apartaments’ that in fact are shops! Then you should see the church of Santa Maria Novella,  Palazzo Vecchio and Galeria degli Uffizi, one of the oldest European museum; you can find there the artworks of Carvaggio, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci or Piero della Francesca etc.

As always, after the whole day of discovering Florence, I recommend you tasting delicious wine and Italian ice-cream!
In my opinion this is one of those cities that surprises you every time you visit it!
